  • The CTTM is a Technology Transfer office.

In order to support our customers in their production activity, we offer a set of analysis and characterization services in our laboratories equipped with qualified testing facilities.

Technological dissemination and training are implemented in order to provide our partners with a high level of skills.

All of our activities have been ISO 9001 certified for nearly 20 years and CRT qualified by the Ministry of Research.

The CTTM is therefore a private center providing R&D and Characterisation with 41 employees and a varied expertise in 4 disciplinary fields.

This development strategy is the same for our 4 technological Units. Thus, one of our major differentiating elements lies in our immediate ability to position ourselves in multidisciplinary operations.

Equipments in our 4 Units:

Materials : This unit provides mechanical, physico analysis equipement in order to investigate polymers, elastomers, vegetal materials.

Thermal Analysis:

  • Differential Scanning Calorimeter (DSC)
  • Thermogravimetric Analyser (TGA)

Chromatography:

  • High Performance Liquid Chromatograph with Time-Of-Flight Mass Spectrometry (HPLC-TOF-MS)
  • Gaz Chromatograph with Mass Spectometer and headspace (HS-GC-MS) or pyrolyzer  (pyro-GC-MS)
  • Steric Exclusion Chromatograph/Gel Permeation Chromatography  (SEC/GPC)

Spectrometry and chemical analysis:

  • Fourier Transfom Infrared Spectrometer (FTIR)
  • IR Microscope
  • UV-Visible spectrometer
  • RAMAN spectrometer
  • X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF)
  • X-Ray Diffraction (XRD)
  • Liquid and Solid Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR)

Mechanical and thermo-mechanical analysis:

  • Dynamichal Mechanical Analyser (DMA)
  • Dynamometers  for tensile, compression, bending, peel testing and friction.
  • Various setups can be adapted
    • ALLROUND TABLE with (-40°C / 250°C) unit and a high elongation extensometer. 1 kN, 10 kN, 50 kN load cells
    • PROLINE with 50 N, 500 N and 5kN load cells
  • Shore A or D Durometer
  • International rubber hardness degrees (IRHD)
  • Micro-indenter
  • Abrasimeter

Processing

  • Extrusion (Twin-screw extruder)
  • Calendring

Aging

  • 20 L to 175 L ovens and climate-controlled chambers (accelerated aging with controlled temperature and moisture)
  • UVA aging test chamber (QUV)
  • Aging in liquids

Vacuum plasma

  •  Ar, O2 and N2 treatments
  •  Fluorination treatment (CF4)

  •  This equipment is located in clean room (ISO7)

Microbiology

BioSafety Level 2 laboratory (BSL2), the CTTM offers a wide range of services and skills for the study of  surface/micro-organism interactions (bacteria, yeast and mold).
