With the aim to improve competitiveness among the business sector, IBV promotes people’s well-being through the combination of knowledge in five areas (https://www.ibv.org/areas-de-conocimiento):
- Biomechanics of human body systems
- 3D anthropometrics
- Human factors & Interfaces design
- Human movements & Biomechanical evaluation, and
- Human needs and preferences
IBV applies knowledge to ten target industries (https://www.ibv.org/en/industries):
